Read CD: The Read CD command in the toolbar (Read CD in the CD menu) reads tracks from an audio CD in your source drive and saves them on your hard disk as wave files.
Selecting tracks: Highlight tracks by clicking on the track titles in the list. Click on the Select and Deselect buttons to select/deselect tracks for reading. You can also select tracks for reading by clicking in the selection box to the left of the track title.
Select All and Deselect All select and deselect all the tracks on the CD for reading.
Properties: Double-click on a track to display the editable track properties (title and artist names) and the output directory.
Get CDDB Entry accesses the CDDB database server via the Internet, with which you can download the track and title information for known CDs automatically (see The CDDB Database Function).
Playing tracks: You can play the highlighted track with the player controls at the bottom of the dialog box. These controls work in the same way as the player controls in the main program screen.
Reading (ripping) tracks: Click on the Read button to read the selected tracks and write them to your hard disk as wave files. The files will be saved in compressed (1:4) or uncompressed (1:1) wave format depending on the Save As setting in Options - Settings - Track Directory.
